Applications are invited for the post of Project Technician (1 nos.) for MoRTH sponsored research project.

Essential Qualification: 3 years Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3 years of laboratory work experience in highway/pavement/Geotechnical engineering laboratory in academic institutions or NABL accredited laboratories.
2. Experience in conducting field data collection.
3. Candidate must possess sound knowledge in pavement material experiments.
4. Proficiency in MS Office

Areas of Educational Qualification: Civil Engineering, Transportation/Highway Engineering

Job Profile:

1. Candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory works on pavement materials (Bituminous, Base and sub-base, subgrade and cement concrete).
2. Will be conducting field data collection as part of various project works.
3. Scheduling and planning of laboratory works to meet project deadlines.
4. Guiding and coordination of work to be performed by other staff members.
5. Data collection, tracking and documentation.
6. The candidate will also have to assist the PI in other research/project activities.

Nature of Work: Selected candidate is required to undertake laboratory work independently and perform field visits for data collection and sampling as per requirement.

Salary Range: INR 36,000/- per month.

Nature of position: Temporary / Contractual.

Duration of appointment: Appointment for the above post will initially be for 1 year, which will be extended with mutual consent if the performance of the candidate is good.
