Vacancy for one Project Technician
Applications are invited for the post of Project Technician (1 nos.) for MoRTH sponsored research project.
Essential Qualification: 3 years Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Desirable Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of laboratory work experience in highway/pavement/Geotechnical engineering laboratory in academic institutions or NABL accredited laboratories.
- Experience in conducting field data collection.
- Candidate must possess sound knowledge in pavement material experiments.
- Proficiency in MS Office
Areas of Educational Qualification: Civil Engineering, Transportation/Highway Engineering
Job Profile:
- Candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory works on pavement materials (Bituminous, Base and sub-base, subgrade and cement concrete).
- Will be conducting field data collection as part of various project works.
- Scheduling and planning of laboratory works to meet project deadlines.
- Guiding and coordination of work to be performed by other staff members.
- Data collection, tracking and documentation.
- The candidate will also have to assist the PI in other research/project activities.
Nature of Work: Selected candidate is required to undertake laboratory work independently and perform field visits for data collection and sampling as per requirement.
Salary Range: INR 36,000/- per month.
Nature of position: Temporary / Contractual.
Duration of appointment: Appointment for the above post will initially be for 1 year, which will be extended with mutual consent if the performance of the candidate is good.
