Vacancy for One Project Associate
Essential Qualification: M Sc. or B.Tech in relevant field
Areas of Educational Qualification: Environmental Sciences & Engineering, Atmospheric Sciences, Climate Sciences, Data Science & Engineering or closely related field.
Desirable experience: Research experience in air quality
Required skills: Matlab, Python, and relevant programming languages, such as ArcGIS, Linux (ubuntu) Operating system and QGIS. Experience handling large datasets. Knowledge of meteorology. Ideal candidates should be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Salary: INR 21600-1800-54000 per month (Salary shall be commensurate with experience & skills)
Nature of position: Temporary / Contractual
Duration of appointment: 1 Year or till the end of the project (whichever is earlier), renewed annually based on performance.
Nature of Work: Interpretation of PM2.5, meteorology, ventilation coefficient and any other data as the situation demands relevant to the assigned objective. Formulation of methodology and Proof of Concept testing on assigned objectives.Design of visualisation tools pertaining to assigned objectives. Support PDF in data compilation. Should be able to generate high-quality Plots/ Maps. Should undertake any task as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
