Applications are invited for the following temporary and contractual post to work on the sponsored research project from Jal Jeevan Mission. The details of the project and qualification requirements are given below:
Name of the Post: Project Technical Assistant Educational Qualification: M.Sc. + 2 years of relevant experience in water quality Experience
- The applicant should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in water quality analysis.
- The candidate is expected to independently operate Inductive Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometers, Ion Chromatography, and maintain various water quality sensors in the lab, which includes periodic maintenance and calibration.
The candidate is expected to set up a quality control and quality assurance program in water analysis including statistical analysis, quality control check samples, spiked samples, and split samples. Interprets data results from laboratory analysis as it pertains to compliance with established regulations.
- Conducts advanced sampling and analysis of water samples for physical, chemical, and bacteriological parameters as needed.
Desirable: First class in M.Sc. The project requires a site visit and the candidate should be ready to travel frequently. Salary: Rs. 50,000 /- (Salary will be fixed as per experience) Term of Appointment: One year or till the end of the project, whichever is earlier. Number of positions: One
The selection process includes a written test, a skill test, and an interview. Please note applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and work experience will not be called for the interview. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a written test and skill test. Candidates scoring 60% and above in skill and written test will be called for an interview. Shortlisted candidates will be notified about the written test, skill test, and interview well in advance. Please note no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
