Project description: The project is in the area of network dynamical systems and mathematical biology. Our research interests particularly focus on emergent properties of networks and its implications in cell fate decisions in normal and diseases conditions. We are also interested in cell migration during metastasis of cancers and origins of non-genetic tumor heterogeneity. Please refer to the Google Scholar link for more details on our research area.

Minimum Qualification:

PhD (including thesis submission) or master’s plus three years of relevant experience in Mathematics, Computational biology, Bioengineering, Biophysics. Candidates from Mathematical Biology background should have demonstrated experience in non-traditional areas of the field.
Demonstrated ability to work in new areas and lead the project independently.
Proficient in C/MATLAB/Python/R.

Salary: ₹44,600/- (consolidated), per month.

Term of the appointment: The appointment will be purely temporary and contractual for one year.
