Chicken pox

Chicken pox is a highly contagious viral infection spread through direct contact with secretions from the rash & coughing/sneezing by Chicken Pox patient.

• Person suspected with chicken pox rash should immediately be brought/come to Health centre.
• Patient of Chicken Pox should be immediately isolated from the normal community.
• Use of Handkerchief/hand while coughing/sneezing by All community will surely prevent air borne diseases like FLU,Chicken Pox,Tuberculosis etc.
• Avoid visiting patients with Chicken pox,whether in home or in hospital.If necessary minimize the visit time and keep distance between yourself and the patient.
• Chicken Pox patient should be allowed to move back to normal community only after the advise of the doctor.
