Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS), Quantum Design
A Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS) is an advanced scientific instrument designed to measure various physical properties of materials, typically at cryogenic temperatures and under high magnetic fields. Once can use the PPMS to execute magnetic, electro-transport, or thermo-electric, and heat capacity measurements. It is widely used in material science, condensed matter physics, and other research fields.
The current system included Model 6000 controller, a sophisticated microprocessor-controlled device, eliminates the need to use external bridges, current sources, or voltage sources for basic system operation. CRYOMECH Reliquefier cold head (PT 410) and Helium Cryocooler (CP2800) are integrated with the PPMS, transforming it into an EverCool system.
Sample Environment:
Operating Temperature Range: 1.9 - 400 K
Temperature Stability ≤ 0.2%
Temperature Accuracy ≤ 0.5%
Magnetic Field Range: ± 14 Tesla
